Frequently Asked Questions

There are many believers who are faithfully following Christ but cannot see any real marked change in their life even in the midst of faithful following. This program will help you go deeper in your intimacy with Christ, help identify the unique roadblocks that hinder you from becoming more like Christ, provide a model to help others grow deeper, and will engage with other believers in a caring community environment.

The program is comprised of eight (8) retreats occurring over a two (2) academic year period. During each retreat, 25-30 participants will spend two and a half (2½) day with other members of the cohort program. During the retreat you will spend time listening to teaching, quiet times of reflection, meeting in a small group for spiritual direction, as well as have an opportunity to meet one-on-one with a spiritual director, experience times of worship, share meals and a closing communion service with others in your cohort.

NOTE: There is a Third-Year program for those who have completed the two year program who want to go deeper in their learning and spiritual development.  There is also a Spiritual Direction certificate offered for those who have completed the program.

Nancy and Ray lead the program together. Nancy provides much of the teaching and Ray leads the spiritual direction groups and praxis. Special speakers will be included as part of the learning experience.

Because these programs either replace or supplement degree programs, many people find them useful throughout their careers.

Travel costs are the sole responsibility of each participant. There will also be one or two (1-2) books that are required reading, that students will be asked to purchase.

The retreat center has various provisions for people with disabilities.
